You can’t scam or rug-pull Artchemy collectors, an artwork needs to be rated and completed before going on sale, proving its value in advance.

We are solving this by requiring all Artchemy artworks to be meaningful contributions to society. All artis rated, investing a lot of effort to make our art as meaningful as possible.

Lack of Quality

We are solving this by submitting all art on Artchemy to a collaborative creative process, where ideas are voted, ranked, polished, discarded, and perfected. Only the best of the best are minted.

High Transaction Fees

The Polygon Network allows our users to spend around $0.01 USD per transaction. This allows us to innovate and do more things on the blockchain.

Accessibility Barriers

Some NFT collection are priced above most of the population. In Artchemy, artworks are affordable on release, making our community open and accessible to everyone.

Artist AI Job Losses

Human artist employment is under threat due to AI, artificial intelligence. We are nurturing the conservation of human artistry by requiring all final artworks to be created by human artists. We can still use AI to make sketches more productively, but not in the final art.

Social Media Addiction

We don't code algorithms to foster addiction, we create algorithms to nurture human growth. We don't spray content at you like a hose, we don't hand out content in a "consume it all now, or miss out forever" manner.

Authenticity & Piracy

Many collectibles suffer from piracy and fraud, such as Pokemon cards. Art has the same problem. In Artchemy, all artworks have blockchain tokens to prove their authenticity and guarantee their scarcity.

Environment Concerns

We are using the Polygon Blockchain, which is extremely environmentally friendly, at just 0.00171 gCO₂e emissions per transaction, and about 0.00586 Wh per transaction. To give some perspective, one smartphone charge requires about 12Wh, so we consume over 2,000 times less power per blockchain transaction than a typical phone charge.
