What is the Minting Policy?
It defines how Artchemy lexichroma artworks can be minted on the blockchain.
Minting Policy Mandate
The mandate of our Minting Policy is to protect Artchemy from being controlled by a single entity. We are also mandated with increasing the sellability and quality of all Artchemy artworks.
3 Minting Councils
In order to protect Artchemy from a single dominant token holder, 3 different councils are created, each has the power to mint tokens:
- The Founding Council
- The Senator Council
- The Collector Council
The Founding Council
The Founding Council is the Artchemy Company itself. It reserves the right to publish content, similar to the way a magazine, a newspaper, a trading card game, or a comic book publisher can release content.
Content approved by the Founding Council will receive the Founding Council Badge.
The Senator Council
Coming SoonThe Senator Council is constituted by a group of outstanding individuals, with a proven track record of being of benefit to others. They display qualities such as wisdom, knowledge, intelligence, integrity, impartiality, benevolence and truthfulness. All Senators have equal voting power among them.
Content approved by Artchemy Senators will receive the Artchemy Senate Badge.
The Collector Council
The Collector Council is open to all the people of the world. By holding 1 or more Artchemy Tokens, you instantly become an Artchemy Collector. The voting power of collectors equals the number of tokens they hold.
Content approved by this council will receive the Artchemy Collector Council Badge.
Additional Minting Requirements
- Adhere to the Editorial Policy.
- Have a minimum resolution of 600 DPI (real pixels, not scaled pixels).
- Have a minimum width and height of 8 inches each.
- Sign exclusive minting rights so the artwork always remains limited edition.
- If your art depicts living people or trademarks, have their written permission.
Raising New Artwork Supply
As the project grows, we will raise the monthly NEW artwork supply cap, so that more NEW artworks can be minted and enjoyed by collectors, while ensuring maximum sellability. We will maintain or rise artwork quality.
