Artworks require research in order to become the best they can be. After we become knowledgeable on a topic, we can better represent it in both literary and graphical terms. Here we'll develop a series of tools to manage collaborative research, including saving important information, requesting information, assigning tasks, suggesting research, etc.
A system that will allow Proposal Leaders to reward collaborators of their artwork, including research collaboration, sketching, commenting, and art creation. Allocations can be offered in advance, accepted, and then mutually rated.
Proposal Leaders will be able to request funding in order to complete their artworks. Funders will be offered a return. Funding will be split in small milestones, with sequential deliveries, in order to reduce risk. A reputation system will be built to further reduce risk and reward good behavior.
Each artwork has a graphical and a literary component, and together they are the artwork. This artwork can be refuted and countered with an opposing artwork. Thus, a debate is opened in our search for truth, a debate in 2 dimensions: graphical and literary. An artwork can have any amount of counters, including zero.
Forks are different takes on the same artwork. Forks are fundamentally the same core idea. Forks require a new graphical aspect, while the literary aspect can remain the same or also be new.
Supports are artworks that support other artworks. For example, if you make an artwork denouncing murder as something destructive, you can support it with another artwork depicting the murder of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, and how that triggered World War I, supporting the idea of the other artwork that murder is destructive. Supports can be evidence, logic or studies that support an idea.
Inferences are the same as supports, but in the other direction. If an artwork supports another artwork, then the supported artwork is an inference. So you get a chain of artworks, one supporting another, then that supporting another, and so on. Downstream they are supports, upstream they are inferences.
Collections are groups of artworks that are related to each other in some way. A collection might try to make a point about a subject, or explore a specific topic. A collection could also ask an interesting question, and have its artworks answer that question in different ways. Collections could also group artworks by any specific parameter. Collections will require tokens in order to be created, which will increase their quality, and become an important demand engine for tokens.
Collections can also be countered by other collections, in order to bring wider awareness and deeper understanding. For example, if one collection explores all the problems and challenges of modern society, another collection could counter it, by exploring with gratitude all the blessings and benefits of modern society.
In Artchemy, ideas are created, explored, debated, painted, tokenized, bought, sold, exchanged, transferred, printed, supported, etc. There shall be a market cap for ideas and groups of ideas. We will discover how the market prices ideas, philosophies and points of view. We will track how these valuations change over time, as debate unfolds. This has never been done before.
Tokens can be burned in exchange for the right to buy a limited edition high resolution print. These prints look amazing, they're 610 DPI, about 4x the typical photographic print resolution. This token burning mechanism puts downward pressure on token supply, thus pushing the price higher for the remaining tokens.
The number of tokens required for a print follows a simple progression, the first print requires 1 token, the second 2 tokens, the third 3 tokens, and so on. This means that early movers are rewarded. Each print is 1 token more expensive than the previous print.
When you burn tokens for a print, you get a single print token, which certifies that your print is authentic. This print token also matches the voting power of the tokens you just burned, so your voting power is not decreased by burning tokens. All tokens can be burned for prints, until there are none left.
We will sell all kinds of products with our artworks on them, including several types of clothing, phone cases, mugs, bags, hats, mouse pads, scarfs, notebooks, calendars, blankets, towels, pillow cases, pet bowls, jigsaw puzzles, etc.
This is an extremely exciting feature. Every time we sell prints and merchandise for a specific artwork, we will allocate 50% of our profits into a cash giveaway pool. Every artwork will have its own pool, so you can win the giveaway if you hold tokens for that specific artwork. The more tokens you hold, the more likely you will win the giveaway, and the more times you might win. Each giveaway prize will be $100 USD. Entering the giveaway is free. The winner will be selected via a transparent, honest, auditable, and open source blockchain contract.
Each of our artworks contains a literary component. We plan to compile our artworks and their literature into books. We will have a general series with all Artchemy artworks, and we will also specialize by topic of interest.

The letters are a hint into what the projects are about. These projects are big enough to be startups in and of themselves, but fit perfectly into Artchemy.
